Transformation / Transformación

JUDY BOUGHT US headgear to wear on New Year's Eve. San Geraldo was, of course, one of the Three Kings (Magi). Coincidentally, the ermine around the base of his crown matched the ermine cape belonging to his 22-greats-grandfather King Ferdinand III.

A blast. And Judy had a ball selecting them.

He already has a solid gold one with real rubies and emeralds. See the sidebar photo of San Geraldo. My brother-in-law and I bought them for him for the First Quadrennial San Geraldo Day. We paid 40 euros for it, so it that has to be solid gold and real rubies and emeralds.

  4. I've been doing research with ancestry, mathematical evidence goes to the point that if you have a gap of 30 generations, then your ancestor count is over one billion. Makes it almost impossible for a person of English ancestry not to be descended from William the Conqueror, Henry I, and even up to King John Plantagenet.

From I hear, even Edward III is probably the ancestor of most (if not all) people of English ancestry. So Ferdinand III (through his daughter Eleanor and her husband Edward I) has a lot of greatgreatgreatetc grandbabies.

I know I'm probably not descended from any of the Hanover branch, or even the Stuarts, but I would like to hope that maybe one day I'll find out I was descended from Henry VII

Jerry's famous ancestral connections continued up into more modern times. My ancestors weren't even his ancestors servants.

  11. I love ermine, but the little beasts are probably being over hunted and should be left alone.

Ferdinand III's ermine cape from the 1200s came from ermine that would no longer be alive now. Jerry's was from one of those modern "genuine faux" ermines.
