Celebrating The Start Of Our Third Year

Today marks the second anniversary of our arrival in Spain. We landed in Málaga two years ago at this very moment (or thereabouts).  It's been an amazing two years filled with change, excitement, a bit of drama, and a lot of comic relief. I have not one single regret. I have no complaints (today). This is what I woke up to. (Click on any image for your own transcendent experience.)

  1. What a glorious sunrise! Such a wonderful greeting to your special day. Doesn't seem like two years ago when I found your blog and started the incredible adventures of San Geraldo and you in Spain. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes to you both as you start your third Spanish year.

It's not easy to stay in bed some mornings (but I usually manage somehow). Thanks for the good wishes. For me, I can't believe it's already been two years and I can't believe it's ONLY been two years.

Thanks! That glorious sunrise was the welcome to our first foggy/muggy day in a while. Today is back to clear and comfortable.

Thanks so much. Fuengirola's biggest fiesta is about to occur. A great way to celebrate the start of the third year.

That morning made me stop and take stock of things. This really is amazing.

  7. These are just breathtaking.
Actually, my very first thought was to recollect those picture-postcard views from the opening titles of the film of 'South Pacific'. But then it didn't take me long to realise that YOURS are not tinted!

Oh, those colored filters in "South Pacific" were very strange. These are all definitely the real thing. I didn't even adjust contrast. Unbelievable.
