I'm Sorry, So Sorry

Although I'm not yet letting Dudo spend a lot of time in my lap, he does appear to still love me.

WHAT I WOKE TO.

So pleased he accepts my apology...

  2. I am certain Dudo suspects he has to be gentle with you, Mitchell.....they can 'sense' that things are not quite right.
And then there's Miss Brenda Lee!

I don't think he has a clue. The only thing that's not quite right is the amount of time he can spend in my lap and the amount of time I spend chasing around the house with him.

  3. Cats can dump a guilt trip on you... much harder than a Jewish Mother..... they have it perfected.... so just tell Dudo to f... off and go have a sherry. That's my advice....

I've tried. But whenever I swear at the cats, they tell Jerry.

  4. He loves you, but you need to be punished for leaving. The punishment will be brief.

Dudo does get over himself fairly quickly.

He has also taken to sitting in my lap facing me and staring directly into my eyes, even while I clean his eyes and nose and give him kisses on his forehead. I've never had a cat like this.

No. He's just trying to be the center of the universe... and it's working.

  7. Odd Essay, above, is right. He wants you to keep feeling guilty as hell until you give in - which you will. You'd have to be super-human not to succumb to his wily put-on charms.

Oh, yeah, it's working. He was already on my lap this morning BEFORE and AFTER breakfast. I drew the line at DURING.

He's got me/us wrapped around his little paw.
